Mali, officially the Republic of Mali, is a country in West Africa. The population of Mali is 18 milion people. 

The national flag of Mali consist of three colors -- green, gold and red. Green symbolizes fertility of the land, gold symbolizes the abundance of minerals and red symbolizes blood shed to get it's independence from France.

马里位于西非，人口大约有1千8百万。

马里的国旗有三个颜色，绿金红，绿色代表土壤肥力，金色代表丰富的矿产资源，红色代表人民为了从法国殖民得到独立所流的血。

马里向北与阿尔及利亚，向东与尼日尔，向南与布基纳法索和科特迪瓦，向西南与几内亚，向西与毛里塔尼亚和塞内加尔接攘。

Musa I of Mali

Musa Keita I (c. 1280 - c. 1337) was the tenth emperor of the wealthy West African Mali Empire. During his reign Mali have been the largest producer of gold in the world. He is known as the richest person in history.
